The 2015 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Annual Meeting and Exposition was held in Orlando, Florida October 25-29, 2015. ASK Pharm delegate, led by ASK CEO and Chairman of the Board Dr. Qingcai Chen, and Vice Chairman Mr. Jun Zhao , once again attended this important professional conference for the sixth time. During the meeting our delegate also presented 3 research posters from ASK Drug Research Institutes, and exchanged R&D ideas and information with scientists from around the world. It was a productive and successful international convention for our team.  During this conference, ASK Pharm also sponsored the Annual Association Convention and Banquet hosted by the American Chinese Pharmaceutical Association (ACPA); this was the fifth consecutive ACPA sponsorship by our corporate. Dr. Chen made the keynote speech entitled “Innovations for ASK’s Sustainable Growth”. In addition, Dr. Jeff Lu, head of ASK US subdivision AskGene Pharma Inc., introduced the company’s R&D directions and product pipelines. 

Dr. Chen also presented the ASK Research Awards to 3 outstanding Chinese graduate students for their AAPS research posters selected by the ACPA Executive Committee. This ACPA gathering had provided valuable and unique opportunities for collaboration and communication between our corporate and oversea Chinese pharmaceutical scientists and scholars.

To express ACPA’s appreciation for ASK’s continued support and sponsorship, ACPA executives presented Dr. Chen with the latest “FDA Guidelines and Regulations” written by senior FDA officials, and encouraged ASK’s further involvement with the Association and expansion at the international stage. ASK Pharm certainly looks forward to continuing R&D innovations via ASKGene as an oversea window of the corporate, and making our significant contributions to the development of pharmaceutical industry and the well-being of the society in the future, both domestically and internationally.
